First Call: Dodge Charger Daytona Order Book Now Opened And There’s A Present If You ACT FAST

Dodge has officially opened the order books for the electric Charger Daytona muscle car.

The first available cars allocated to dealers have been listed on the Dodge Garage’s Horsepower Locator page, so it’s time to call dibs if you want one.

The initial cars are being offered through a First Call program that includes two days of instruction at the Radford Racing school in Arizona, a personal concierge for ordering and post-purchase help and a package that comes with a letter of authenticity, Dodge leather driving gloves and other goodies — but you’ll have to put your name in soon to get it.

Only cars ordered by Oct. 31 will be eligible for the First Call package. It is a special treat, after all.

The Daytona Charger is launching with a two-door model that will be available as an R/T with a Stage 1 upgrade kit that gives it 496 hp or as a Scat Pack with a Stage 3 kit good for 670 hp.

Base prices are $61,590 for the R/T and $75,185 for the Scat Pack and deliveries are scheduled to begin during the fourth quarter of this year.

Dodge says the R/T will be able to accelerate to 60 mph in 4.7 seconds and cover a quarter-mile in 13.1 seconds, while the Scat Pack’s times are 3.3 seconds and 11.5 seconds. They are both equipped with the Fratzonic Chambered Exhaust, which simulates the sounds of a V8 engine.

The two-doors will be followed by four-doors in the same configurations in early 2025. Later in the year, the internal combustion engine version that’s simply called the Charger will go on sale with a pair of turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six-cylinder engines rated at 420 hp and 550 hp.

Following all of that, Dodge will unleash the electric Charger Daytona Banshee, which will be the most powerful model and bring with it the eRupt transmission, which adds fake gear shifts into the mix to create a very 4D experience.
