This Driver Is The Odds-On Favorite To Win The 2023 NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs

Regular season NASCAR Cup Series champion Martin Truex Jr. is technically second in the playoff standings behind William Byron heading into the first post-season race at Darlington Raceway on Sept. 3, but he is the odds-on favorite to make it two titles this year.

BetMGM has given Truex the top odds as he looks to pick up his second career playoffs win.

Truex, with three race wins this season, is currently ahead of five-time race winner Byron at +425 to +500.

2021 Cup Series Playoffs champion Kyle Larson is tied for third at +600 with Denny Hamlin, who is seeking his elusive first title, while two-time champion Kyle Busch rounds out the top five at +800.

Byron won the spring race at Darlington this year, while Truex has two career wins on the Lady in Black, the last coming in 2016.
