If you’re in the market for a used car it might be worth taking a trip to Ohio.

Or just driving across Florida.

A new study from iSeeCars.com says you’ll find the lowest average prices in two Buckeye State cities.

While the nationwide average this year has been running at $34,227, the figure is $31,458 in the Cleveland-Akron metro area.

ANNUAL CAR OWNERSHIP HITS $12,182 IN U.S.

Cincinnati is just behind at $31,622, followed by Norfolk-Portsmouth-Newport News, Va. ($31,901), Fresno-Visalia, Calif. ($31,912), and Orlando-Daytona Beach. Fla. ($31,971).

“While these cities have attractive overall used car pricing, buyers in these markets still need to look at specific models to confirm they can’t find a better deal somewhere else,” iSeeCars Executive Analyst Karl Brauer.

“It’s easy to research car pricing, both locally and nationally, so there’s no reason not to look beyond your area to get a sense of how much prices vary for a given model.”

The bad end of the list was led by West Palm Beach-Ft. Pierce, Fla., at $37,632, which is $5,661 more than nearby Orlando-Daytona Beach.
