The 2024 GMC Acadia revealed at the North American Auto Show in Detroit returns to its supersize roots.
After spending its last generation as a midsize model, the all-new SUV returns to a large, three-row crossover platform shared with the recently redesigned 2024 Chevrolet Traverse.
All Acadias will will come powered by a 2.5-liter turbocharged four cylinder rated at 328 hp and 326 lb-ft that’s combined with an eight-speed automatic transmission.
The Acadia will be available in Elevation, Elevation Platinum, AT4 and luxurious Denali trims.

A 15-inch touchscreen infotainment system with a physical knob an switches below it highlights the new interior, which will feature seven or eight passenger configurations across the lineup and a spacious cargo area behind the seats.
The AT4 is an off-road focused version with a one-inch suspension lift, heavy duty shocks and springs, all-terrain tires on 18-inch wheels and a torque vectoring twin-clutch rear differential.
GM’s hands-free Super Cruise highway driving feature will be optional on all trims.

Pricing for the Lansing, Michigan-built Acadia will be announced closer to when it goes on sale early next year.
