Tesla’s Texas factory is going to be busy building trucks.

An online document that tracks Tesla Cybertruck reservations has tallied more than two million for the electric truck.

Teslarati spotted the milestone on the crowdsourced and unofficial Google Doc.

According to the document, Tesla had recieved 2,011,126 reservations for the Cybertruck at the time this story was published.

The reservations only require a $100 refundable deposit, so it’s yet to be seen how many trucks are actually sold, but Elon Musk expects it to be a lot.

WHERE IS TESLA’S 50,000TH SUPERCHARGER?

Tesla hasn’t confirmed the figure, but during the company’s second-quarter earnings call Musk said, “demand is so, so far, off the hook, you can’t even see the hook.”

Final pricing and specifications for the Cybertruck still haven’t been released, although the first deliveries are scheduled to happen sometime this fall, with production ramping up through 2024.

Depending on where pricing ends up, two million trucks could be worth well over $100 billion in sales.

Musk had previously said that Tesla could end up selling 250,000 Cybertrucks annually, which means it may be sitting on eight years worth of reservations.

THE GAS STATION: DON’T BE A SQUARE THE TESLA CYBERTRUCK LOOKS FINE

Tesla last week removed the lowest-priced version of the Model Y SUV that’s manufactured at the Austin factory where the Cybertruck will be built from availability on its website. Observers have speculated the move suggests that Cybertruck production is about to begin in earnest, as the two vehicles use the same battery type, which remains in short supply.
