Oracle’s ‘Incredible’ Tesla Cybertruck Police Car Revealed

Oracle founder Larry Ellison on Tuesday released an image of a Tesla Cybertruck done up as a police car during the company’s CloudWorld conference.
Oracle sells a technology platform for law enforcement and other public services that integrates dispatch, communications, video and more features that are shared across vehicles and command centers.
“Our next-generation police car is coming out very soon. It’s my favorite police car. It’s my favorite car, actually,” Ellison said.

“It’s incredible. I know too much about it, some of it’s still to be disclosed. But amongst other things, it’s incredibly safe, very fast, it’s got a stainless steel body.”
He added that the software platform could use the Cybertruck’s existing cameras and infotainment screen to operate, while other vehicles require that equipment to be installed.
An increasing number of Cybertrucks have been spotted being tested on public roads and shipped across the country on trucks, suggesting it is getting close to the first deliveries.
Final details on performance, pricing and other specifications have not been released, but that hasn’t quelled interest in the bizarre pickup.

A crowd-sourced online reservations tracker has recorded that more than two million have now been placed for the pickup.
