Ryan is returning.
Stewart-Haas Racing driver Ryan Preece will be back with the team in the NASCAR Cup Series in 2024.
The #41 car driver is currently 25th in the standings ahead of teammate Chase Briscoe in 30th and has one top five finish and one stage win this year.
Preece replaced Cole Custer on the team this season, which is the 32-year-old’s fourth full-time efford in the Cup Series.

Preece and Briscoe will be joined by Xfinity Series driver Josh Berry, who will fill the seat being vacated by the retiring Kevin Harvick, while Aric Almirola has not yet confirmed his plans beyond 2023.
“I like the direction of the things that we’ve been working on here at SHR,†Preece told NASCAR Radio on SiriusXM.

“And it makes me optimistic going into not only Talladega because we have such fast superspeedway cars, but going to Las Vegas – our mile-and-a-half stuff, it’s never been really my strong suit, but some of the things that we’ve worked on, I feel really, really eager and excited to get to Las Vegas. And obviously when we go to Martinsville and Phoenix, those are two of our stronger tracks so we have a good couple races coming up.â€
It won’t be hard to spot Preece at Talladega as his car will be decked out in a Wonder Bread sponsor scheme inspired by Ricky Bobby’s car from the comedy classic “Talladega Nights.”
