Harvick can’t be too happy right now.

Kevin Harvick was disqualified from his second-place finish in the YellaWood 500 at Talladega Superspeedway on Sunday after a post-race inspection found an issue with his car.

NASCAR said it was in violation of a rule that says “window fasteners must remain secure for the Entire event.”

No further details on the infraction were offered, but it bumped the retiring Harvick to a last-place finish in what will be his final superspeedway race as a full-time driver.

Harvick was leading as the race entered the final lap, but was passed by Team Penske’s Ryan Blaney, who qualified for the playoffs round of eight with the win.

“I’m going to smile regardless,” Harvick told reporters following the race, but before the disqualification.

“It’s the last superspeedway race and the car’s in one piece and we almost won.”

Harvick made the playoffs, but failed to advance past the first round.
