Wrap Star? Tesla Selling Wraps For Model 3 And Model Y At $7,500-$8,000
Tesla is ready to wrap things up just in time for holiday season.
The automaker is now offering an in-house “self-healing urethane-based film” in seven colors for the Model 3 and Model Y.
The wraps are available in Glacier Blue, Forest Green, Satin Rose Gold, Slip Gray, Satin Ceramic White, Satin Sheath Black and Crimson Red.
There’s also a clear protective wrap option for $3,000.
The move could be related to the upcoming release of the stainless steel Cybertruck. It will come unpainted from the factory, but Elon Musk said in 2020 that “you will be able to wrap it in any color or pattern.”
2 MILLION PEOPLE REALLY WANT TESLA CYBERTRUCKS
The company has demonstrated that in a humorous way, with prototypes wrapped in the image of the Ford F-150 and Toyota Tundra, as well as graffiti-style Cybertruck logos.

One caveat to the new wrap program is that it is currently only offered at service centers in West Covina and Carlsbad, Calif., and Tesla has not yet said when it will be expanded.
Both models still come standard with silver paint, with black, white, blue and red are the available options priced from $1,000 to $2,000.
