First Tesla Cybertruck Deliveries ‘On Track’ For November 30
The Cybertruck is almost ready to roll.
Tesla has reconfirmed its intention to begin deliveries of the electric pickup before the end of 2023.
“At Gigafactory Texas, we began pilot production of the Cybertruck, which remains on track for initial deliveries this year,” the automaker said it its third quarter update shareholder deck.
The update included a photo of a Tesla Semi pulling a vehicle carrier full of Cybertrucks that was captioned, “Deliveries Begin In November 2023.”
The deck was released ahead of a 5:30 p.m. ET earnings call.
Tesla also posted an announcement for the Cybertruck’s delivery event at its Austin, Texas, factory on November 30.
Cybertrucks have been spotted on roads around the country as the final tests are completed before production begins.

Tesla has been coy about pricing and specifications for the pickup, having removed them from the consumer website a couple of years ago as its development was delayed.
The truck was first revealed as a concept in 2019 with plans to have it on sale by 2021 at a base price of $39,900, but Tesla appears to have been focusing more on a high end Performance model lately that will have an air suspension, four-wheel steering and a high power rating.

Oracle founder Larry Ellison said in September that, ““it’s incredible. I know too much about it, some of it’s still to be disclosed. But amongst other things, it’s incredibly safe, very fast, it’s got a stainless steel body.â€
During Tesla’s earnings call, CEO Elon Musk said he thinks the Cybertruck could be the company’s best product, but that it will take “enormous work to reach volume production and become cash flow positive a price that people can afford.”
He said the company has over one million reservations, while the deck noted that the Austin factory is currently designed with the capacity to manufacture 125,000 Cybertrucks per year.
Musk later answered an investor’s question about future production scale by saying he thinks the annual run rate of the factory may reach 250,000 per year sometime in 2025.
