UAW workers walked out of the General Motors Arlington Assembly Plant in Texas on Tuesday, just hours after the company released its third quarter earnings.

The factory is GM’s most profitable in the U.S. and builds the Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban, GMC Yukon and Cadillac Escalade.

GM had highlighted in the report the fact that it dominates the large SUV segment with more than 60% market share, with the Escalade number on in large luxury SUV sales.

The UAW move comes a day after the union expanded its strike against Stellantis by shutting down the Sterling Heights, Mich., factory that builds the Ram 1500 pickup.

Last week, UAW workers walked out of Ford’s Kentucky Truck Plant, where the Ford Expedition and Lincoln Navigator SUVs are produced alongside the F-Series Super Duty pickup.
