This car … rocks.
A 1966 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray coupe that was once owned by Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash is being auctioned in California on November 16.
Slash purchased the car following the release of Guns N’ Roses first album, “Appetite for Destruction.”

KEVIN HART’S AMAZING MUSCLE CAR COLLECTION COMING TO THE LOS ANGELES AUTO SHOW
“Before that I had a Honda CRX, but that doesn’t count as a real car.”
The Corvette is equipped with a 7.0-liter big block V8 and features a few appearance modifications, including a stinger hood, rally wheels and third brake lights on either side, according to Julien’s Auctions.
It’s core parts remain original, but its been reupholstered and the engine and four-speed transmission have been refurbished.
Slash auctioned the car for $100,000 during an auction of a collection of his memorabilia in 2011, with some of the proceeds going to charity.
“I think probably the hardest thing to get rid of, and I’ve been struggling with it a long time, is the car,” he said in a video posted by Julien’s Auctions.
“I thought about maybe should I sell it, and I’ve been keeping it and keeping it, and then finally when I decided to do this auction, that was the last thing that I decided was going to go on the auction block. I wasn’t around when they picked the car up, which was probably for the best.”
