It seems fitting that a truck that looks like it was designed for a zombie apocalypse would protect against recoverable ammunition.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk was on the Joe Rogan podcast that released on Tuesday and arrived at the studio in a Cybertruck.

The two discussed some details about the electric pickup, including Tesla’s claim that it is bulletproof to some extent.

Musk said they tested it against a Thompson submachine gun, a shotgun and 9mm and a .45 ACP and none of them penetrated its stainless steel skin.

The truck that was shot up by the Thompson has been seen on public roads with dozens of dents in its side.

Rogan, who is an archery buff, asked if it could stop an arrow, and Musk bet him a dollar that it could.

Rogan then grabbed an 80-pound bow and the two went to the garage, where Rogan shot it at the door in which it was only able to leave a dent.

Musk suggested that he’ll be showing evidence of the gunshot tests at the Cybertruck’s first delivery event on November 30. He also revealed a few details, but didn’t want to give it all away ahead of the event.

Musk told Rogan it weighs about 7,000 pounds and that future models will be closer to 6,000 pounds. This jibes somewhat with a recent document filed with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, that showed the same Cybertruck having a gross vehicle weight rating range from 8,001 pounds to 10,000 pounds, which includes its maximum payload. That had previously been advertised as 3,500 pounds, but the final production specifications have not yet been released.

Musk also said that they are trying to get the 0-60 mph acceleration time under three seconds in a “Beast” mode, which suggests the vehicle is still very much in development just weeks away from its launch.
