2024 NASCAR Cup Series Ford Mustang Dark Horse Revealed
Whether or not he wins the NASCAR Cup Series Championship race at Phoenix Raceway on Sunday, Ryan Blaney will be getting a new car next year.
And so will all of the Ford drivers.
Ford has revealed the redesigned 2024 NASCAR Cup Series Mustang Dark Horse that will make its racing debut at the Bush Light Clash at The Coliseum in Los Angeles next February.
The car is a reskin of the Next Gen Cup Series car that first hit the track last year that features updated styling inspired by the redesigned 2024 Ford Mustang.

The front end features a new grille, fascia and “lights” wrapped over the spec chassis.
“If she gallops as fast as she looks, it’s going to be a good year,†said Brad Keselowski, driver and co-owner of Roush Fenway Keselowski Racing, in a press releaase.
“Mustang is an iconic American car made famous around the world. I think of how Mustang has evolved over the years and how NASCAR has evolved along with it and they’re just two brands that go together. I’m proud to get to drive it and proud to be able to compete for the win in this car.â€
Team Penske’s Blaney, who booked his ticket to the Championship Four by driving the current Mustang to victory at Martinsville last Sunday, echoed Keselowski’s enthusiasm for the new car.
“We’re excited to debut this new Mustang Dark Horse next year. I’m really pumped because Ford did an amazing job with it,†said Ryan Blaney of Team Penske.

“I can’t wait for this to debut and drive it next year at the Coliseum and, hopefully, I can be the one to get the first win. That would be a cool accomplishment.â€
The production Dark Horse is currently the top performance version of the Mustang and comes powered by a 500 horsepower 5.0-liter V8.
It will be joined in the lineup next year by the $300,000 Ford Mustang GTD, which has an 800 hp supercharged V8 and is based on the racing cars Ford will run in the IMSA and WEC series and enter in the 24 Hours of Le Mans next year.
