Who Is NASCAR’s Most Popular Driver?
What better time than Election Day to opening up the voting for NASCAR’s Most Popular Driver of 2023?
The National Motor Press Association has started collecting votes through NASCAR.com and the NASCAR mobile app, and the voting will be open until November 27.
All drivers who declared for points and championship qualification in either the Cup Series are eligible and fans can vote for one driver each day.
Most popular awards will also be given out in the Xfinity Series and Truck Series.

Chase Elliott is the five-time defending Cup Series winner, but 2023 wasn’t his best year. He missed six races with an injury, was suspended for one due to poor conduct and didn’t score any wins for the first season since 2017.
Elliott’s father Bill holds the record with 16 awards while Dale Earnhardt Jr. won it 15 consecutive seasons.

2021 and 2022 Truck Series Most Popular Drivrer Hailie Deegan will be moving to the Xfinity Series in 2024 to drive for AM Racing.
The winners of the Most Popular Driver awards will be announced at the NASCAR awards banquet in Nashville on Nov. 30.
