The Chrysler 300 Sedan Will Be Dead For Years
The Chrysler 300 is cruising into the sunset this year.
The luxury sedan is set to be discontinued by the end of 2023, along with the Dodge Charger and Challenger, with which it shares its platform.
The 300 and Pacifica minivan are the only two models the brand currently sells, and it sounds like there will be just one next year.
Chrysler CEO Christine Feuell told Reuters that the brand’s next new model will be an electric SUV coming in 2025.
Chrysler unveiled the Airflow electric SUV concept at CES in 2022, but has since said a future production model will feature different styling.
The SUV will be built on the same platform as the upcoming Dodge model that will be based on the Charger Daytona SRT Concept, which is expected to arrive as a two-door liftback.

Feuell added that the brand is still thinking about what size a future sedan might be, but that she expects it to have a concept to show sometime next year.
Chrysler has previuosly said it plans to have a fully electric lineup by 2028, but Feuell said that the Pacifica plug-in hybrid will be on sale through the end of the decade.
Chrysler revived the 300 C model this year for the first time since 2014 and it will go down in history as the brand’s last vehicle to feature a 6.4-liter Hemi V8 engine.
