Ford Just Put A Complaint Department In Your Car

Ford has started installing an innovative new feature in its vehicles that allows drivers and passengers to send instant feedback about issues they are having.

The Record Feedback icon launches a voice recorder that sends a message to the Ford Customer Experience team, which can share relevant feedback with engineers.

Ford said it has already been used to identify an issue with the Phone-as-a-Key feature, which stopped working for one owner after a recent update of the FordPass app.

A problem with certain phone models was identified and resolved a week later.

Ford said it could use the information, which is accompanied by vehicle data, to develop new features and quickly address problems at the manufacturing level.

The company will also gladly accept any compliments via the system.
