The Renegade has been made … redundant.
Jeep is discontinuing sales of the Renegade in the U.S. at the end of this year.
The Italian-made subcompact SUV is the brand’s smallest and lowest-priced model.
A Jeep spokesperson told Automotive News that, “as the brand focuses its resources on SUV segments in North America that continue to grow.”

The cheapest Renegade currently available for configuration on Jeep’s website is $29,445, which is just $550 less than the base price for the larger, more powerful Compass.
Jeep delivered just 15,561 Renegades through the first three quarters of this year, which was down from 23,776 during the same period in 2022.

The larger sub/compact Compass is now the brand’s entry level model.
Jeep announced the end of production for the compact Cherokee earlier this year, which will leave a size gap in the brand’s crossover lineup between the Compass and Grand Cherokee.
