Ford F-Series Claims Best-Selling Truck Title For 2023, But GM To Win Overall Full-Size Sales Race
The Ford F-Series is sill on a roll … a long one.
Ford has announced that it will finish 2023 with more than 700,000 F-Series deliveries, which will make it the best-selling truck lineup of any brand for the 47th-straight year.
Ford said it will deliver almost 200,000 more full-size pickups than Chevrolet.
It will also close out the year as the best-selling of all vehicles for the 42nd-consecutive year.

According to Ford, the F-150 PowerBoost hybrid also outsold the Toyota Tundra hybrids in the full-size hybrid pickup class and the F-150 Lightning was the top electric full-size pickup, ahead of the Chevrolet Silverado 1500 EV, GMC Hummer EV and Tesla Cybertruck.
FORD WON’T GIVE UP ON THE WARTHOG
However, while the Chevrolet Silverado is second overall, when its sales are combined with those of the GMC Sierra that is its mechanical twin, General Motors is top automaker, as more than 200,000 Sierras were delivered through just the first three quarters of 2023.
Ford is entering the new model year with an updated 2024 F-150 that includes the new Pro Access Tailgate and an F-150 Raptor R that has had its power boosted from 700 hp to 720 hp, making it the most powerful gasoline-fueled production pickup ever sold.
