Three weeks after Dodge Challenger production ended on December 22 its replacement has been revealed. A little.

Dodge has released four images of the production version of the electric Charger Daytona SRT Concept that will go on sale late this year.

The images are all from the front quarters, but show the coupe’s styling has stayed close to the concept’s, with a classic muscle car look not all that different from the Challenger’s.

It’s also retained the R-Wing front wing, which gives the appearance of a large grille, but allows air to flow through it for improved aerodynamics.

The Charger Daytona — if that’s what the final name is — will be offered in three power levels, each with two software upgrades that unlock even more power. The base 340 car will have 455 hp, 495 hp and 535 hp while a 440 car will be available in 590 hp, 630 hp and 670 hp versions.

An even more powerful Banshee level will be offered, but Dodge hasn’t said just how potent it will be. All of the trims are expected to feature all-wheel-drive electric powertrains.

The car’s chassis has been engineered to accommodate an internal combustion engine in place of the battery-electric setup, but Dodge has not confirmed such a model will be released and said it will no longer build V8-powered cars. Dodge typically dishes out information on its new models over time, so more should be on the way in the coming weeks.

It has previously confirmed that the car will feature an eRupt faux transmission that simulates gearshifts and the Fratzonic Chambered Exhaust, which creates a synthetic exhaust sound that can be as loud as the supercharged V8 in the Dodge Challenger SRT Demon 170.

UPDATE: Dodge added a fifth image of the rear of the car, which has the name Daytona stamped in the rear bumper above the exit for the Fratzonic Chambered Exhaust.
