Would You Elect To Buy Donald Trump’s Lamborghini Diablo?
Most Lamborghini supercars can’t carry much baggage, but there’s one coming up for auction that has a bunch.
The 1997 Lamborghini Diablo VT Roadster was originally purchased by Donald Trump.
The U.S. market car was special ordered by Trump and is the only 1997 example painted Blu Le Mans.
It is equipped with a 492 hp 5.7-liter V12, a five-speed manual transmission and all-wheel-drive.

Trump kept it until 2002 and it has had two owners since then, racking up 15,431 miles along the way.
Not coincidentally, the last time it was put up for sale was in 2016 during Trump’s first campaign for the presidency and a Trump 2016 sticker can still be found on the rear window.
It was listed on eBay and apparently sold for $460,000, which was a $150,000 to $200,000 premium over the average value of the model at the time.
That’s also about what Diablo VT Roadsters without a political provenance go for today.
