When Will The Electric 2025 Dodge Charger Daytona Be Fully Revealed?
The future of American muscle is almost here.
The first official images of the production electric 2025 Dodge Charger Daytona were posted to social media in January.
The spy shot-style photos confirmed that it has retained the styling of the original concept car that debuted in 2022.
The two-door liftback features coupe-like styling that makes it look very much like a successor to the Challenger that went out of production for good in December.

Interior shots weren’t shown, however, and no new details were offered.
Dodge has previously said how powerful several models will be. The Charger Daytona will be offered in 340, 440 and Banshee trims.
The 340 will have 455 hp, but two stage kits will be available in the form of “crystals” that are installed in a dashboard port that increase it to 495 hp and 535 hp. The 440 starts at 590 hp and can be cranked up to 630 hp and 670 hp.

The Banshee’s power is still under wraps, but it gets upgraded from a 400-volt to an 800-volt architecture and will have more than 670 hp. Exactly how much may be known soon.
Stellantis senior vice president of Dodge/SRT sales, Matt McAlear, was at the J.D. Power Auto Summit in Las Vegas last week and said the car will be revealed on March 5, according to Automotive News.
Dodge hasn’t announced hasn’t announced the time, place or method of the unveiling, but said that is definitely the day it is scheduled to occur.
THE USA NEEDS MORE AMERICAN SUPERCARS
Along with the electric Charger Daytona, which is meant to replace the V8 versions of the Challenger, the possibility exists that there will be a gasoline powered version featuring a turbocharged inline-six-cylinder engine.
The STLA Large platform the Charger Daytona is built on can accommodate both types of powertrains, but Dodge hasn’t yet said if there will be an internal combustion engine model.
The STLA Large will also underpin the electric Jeep Wagoneer S that was revealed in photos last week.
The Wagoneer S will be availble with a 600 hp all-wheel drivetrain and further details are still to come, but a date hasn’t been set.
