The 2025 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD Trail Boss Is The CEO: Chief Executive Off-Roader
There’s a new boss in town.
The 2025 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD is the fist to get Chevy’s lifted Trail Boss treatment, following the Silverado 1500 and midsize Colorado. Think of it as the CEO: Chief Executive Off-Roader.
The Trail Boss package will be offered on the LT and LTZ trims and includes the Z71 suspension with Rancho shocks, black 20-inch wheels wrapped in BF Goodrich KO3 tires, blacked out bumpers and trim, red recovery hooks and Trail Boss logos.
The full-size pickup comes standard with the 2500 HD’s 401 hp 6.6-liter gasoline V8, but the 470 hp turbocharged 6.6-liter Duramax Diesel is optional.
THE SILVERADO 1500 CUSTOM TRAIL BOSS IS LARGE AND IN CHARGE:
Deliveries are scheduled to begin this summer and pricing will be released closer to then, but a 2024 LT Crew Cab, Short Bed with the standard Z71 package starts at $57,520.
The 2500 HD Trail Boss should also slot into the lineup well below the 2500 HD ZR2, which has an advanced high performance suspension system that features Multimatic DSSV dampers and a base price of $72,595.
While the ZR2 is for extreme and higher speed off-road driving, the Trail Boss looks like it could crush it pretty good on the rocks.
