The order books are opening soon for the Chevrolet Equinox EV and pricing for front-wheel-drive trims has been released.
As previously announced, the entry-level Equinox EV 1LT will start at $34,995, although it won’t be available until the end of 2024.
The front-wheel-drive Equinox EV comes with a 213 hp motor and a battery pack that provides an EPA-rated driving range of 319 miles per charge.
The Equinox EV is expected to start arriving in Chevrolet dealerships mid-year.

The prices for other trims are as follows and all qualify for the full $7,500 Clean Vehicle Federal Tax Credit on both purchases and leases:
·       2LT FWD: $43,295  Â
·       2RS FWD: $44,795 Â
·       3LT FWD: $45,295 Â
·       3RS FWD: $46,795 Â
Chevrolet’s hands-free Super Cruise highway driving feature will be optional on all trims above the 1LT.

A 288 hp all-wheel drivetrain rated at 288 hp and 285 miles per charge will be added to the lineup at a later date.
The Equinox EV is mechanically different from the new 2025 Equinox, which is powered by a turbocharged four-cylinder engine and goes on sale later this year.
