NASCAR Daytona 500 Postponed Until Monday At 4 p.m. Due To Rain
Presidents Day is race day in America.
NASCAR has postponed the Daytona 500 from Sunday until Monday due to rain in the Daytona Beach, Fla., area.
The Great American Race is now scheduled to start at 4 p.m. on Monday afternoon and will be broadcast on the Fox network.
NASCAR had previously moved Saturday’s Xfinity Series United Rentals 300 to Monday at 11:30 a.m. ET.
The forecast currently calls for rain in the area until approximately 8 a.m. ET on Monday.
Joey Logano will start the Daytona 500 from pole position alongside fellow Ford Mustang Dark Horse driver Michael McDowell.
