THE CLOSEST NASCAR CUP SERIES FINISHES AT LAS VEGAS MOTOR SPEEDWAY
Caruth led 38 of the 134 laps run and became only the second driver in 30 races to win at the speedway from pole position after Kyle Busch in 2009.
“It’s surreal,” the 21-year-old said during his post-race interview on FS1.
“I can’t believe it.”

Wallace was the first Black driver to win a NASCAR Truck Series race and Caruth the second.
They and Wendell Scott are the only Black drivers who have won a race in one of NASCAR’s top three national series.
