Get A Hennessey Mammoth 1000 TRX Last Stand Before It Goes Extinct
The Ram TRX will not go quietly into the night if Hennessey Performance has anything to say about it.
The Texas tuning house has announced a “Last Stand” run of its outrageous Ram 1500-Based Mammoth 1000 TRX pickups.
The custom truck starts out as a factory Ram 1500 TRX, which went out of production in December along with all of Ram’s V8-powered light duty models.
They’re being replaced by pickups powered by turbocharged inline-six-cylinder engines that are more powerful than the V8s.

That is except for the high performance TRX. Ram CEO Tim Kuniskis said the model name is being put on the shelf … for now.
RAM IS KILLING ITS V8 ENGINES, BUT SAYS THAT’S GOOD NEWS
Hennessey created the Mammoth 1000 TRX a couple of years ago by swapping in a higher-flow supercharger and new engine calibration that cranks up it supercharged 6.2-liter V8’s output from 702 hp and 650 lb-ft to 1,019 hp and 969 lb-ft.
It can accelerate from 0-60 mph in 3.2 seconds and cover a quarter-mile in 11.4, making it quicker than a stock Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye muscle car.

Hennessey will build a maximum of 200 trucks, which also get a graphics package and can be ordered in variety of colors.
