The Jeep Gladiator is ready to fly into darkness.

Jeep chose the day of the solar eclipse crossing the U.S. to announced the launch of the limited edition Gladiator NightHawk.

The new pickup trim is based on the entry-level Gladiator Sport, which is updated with gloss black 20-inch wheels and all-terrain tires, heavy duty Dana 44 axles, an anti-slip rear differential, rock rails and black bumper accents.

It can be combined with any Gladiator Sport paint color and also adds a body color hardtop and fender flares.
