$99,495 GMC Sierra EV Denali Edition 1 Confirmed With 440-Mile Range
The GMC Sierra EV will be hitting showrooms later this year with a driving range that’s longer than expected.
As with the Silverado EV RST that shares its platform, the Sierra EV Denali Edition 1 has been rated at 440 miles per charge.
The Sierra EV Denali Edition 1 uses an 800-volt architecture and can charge at up to 350kW, which allows it to recoup 100 miles of range in 10 minutes.
The full-size pickup’s top trim has a starting price of $99,495 and an all-wheel-drive powertrain with 754 horsepower and 785 lb-ft of torque available in its Max Power mode. Its towing and payload capacities are 10,000 pounds and 1,450 pounds, respectively.

It is also equipped with an adjustable air suspension system and four-wheel steering, which can turn the rear wheels either opposite the fronts to reduce its turning circle at low speeds, or in concert with them to improve stability at high speeds.
It can also turn the rears and fronts 10 degrees in the same direction at low speeds to engage CrabWalk mode, which allows the vehicle to move diagonally. It’s a feature shared with the GMC Hummer EV.

A large frunk is located under the hood, while a MultiPro MidGate feature allows the rear wall of the cabin to fold down, which extends the length of the bed.
Deliveries of the Sierra EV Edition 1 are scheduled to begin this summer.
