If you went shopping for a Chevrolet Camaro on Monday because of Kyle Larson’s historic NASCAR win at Kansas Speedway on Sunday, you might not have had much luck.
Production of the sixth generation Camaro ended on December 14 and supplies are dwindling.
According to Cars.com, there are just 893 in inventory, which is down from 991 when we checked on Sunday.
Things are a little brighter on Autotrader, which currently lists 1,053 in stock at dealers across the country.
With 2,899 Chevy showrooms in the U.S., that means you have roughly a 1 in 3 chance of finding one right now, and it’s not going to get better anytime soon.

Chevrolet has not announced any plans to replace the Camaro in either the real world or in NASCAR. According to series rules, it can continue to race the current car as as long as it likes, but isn’t allowed to update the body the way that Ford and Toyota did with their cars this season.

Chevrolet still sells the Corvette and there are more than 2,000 of those available, according to our search, and plenty more coming. Chevrolet isn’t discontinuing it anytime soon and will even be unveiling a new top of the line ZR1 performance model this summer.

Of course, if muscle cars are more your thing, Ford will be happy to sell you a Mustang, which is celebrating its 60th anniversary and is here to stay, but there is another option.
The Dodge Challenger also ended production in December, but not before Dodge cranked out as many of them as it could. Right now there are still around 8,500 to 10,000 in stock.

That might not last the year, but there’s a new model to replace it on the way.
Dodge is launching the all-electric two-door Charger Daytona this summer, which will be followed in early 2025 by a Charger Six Pack that’s powered by a 550 hp turbocharged inline-six-cylinder engine.
