Production Jeep Wagoneer S Revealed With 600 HP for $71,995
The order books open on Friday for Jeep’s first all-electric model.
The Wagoneer S was revealed in final production guise in New York on Thursday.
The Launch Edition trim that goes on sale first is a top of the line model priced at $71,995, including delivery fees and qualifies for the full $7,500 federal tax credit on EV purchases.
It has a 600 hp all-wheel-drive system and a 100 kilowatt-hour battery pack that’s good for 300 miles of range per charge.

While it provides all-weather and slippery surface traction, it’s dressed primarily for the street and can accelerate to 60 mph in 3.4 seconds, which is quicker than the Tesla Model Y Performance that it will compete against.
It’s also quicker than the old Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk, which was similar in size and featured a 710 hp supercharged V8.
The Wagoneer S is a two-row vehicle with a spacious interior and a 30 cubic-foot cargo area.
The fully-loaded Launch Edition features all of the luxury amenities you would expect from a high-end Jeep, including an entertainment system for the front seat passenger and a 1,200-watt McIntosh audio system.
JEEP COMPASS PRICES SLASHED BY THOUSANDS FOR 2024
Deliveries are scheduled to begin in the second half of this year and lower priced models will follow it next year, although their pricing and specification has not been revealed.
Jeep did roll out a rugged Wagoneer S Trailhawk Concept alongside it, however, and is looking for customer feedback to decide if if should add it to the lineup. The Trailhawk gets a two-inch suspension lift, all-terrain tires, new bumpers with better clearance angles and an updated traction management system with more off-road focused settings.
It’s essentially the upcoming Jeep Recon electric SUV with a different body. The Recon is set to debut in production form in the coming weeks and is built on the same platform as the Wagoneer S, but has a boxier body and removable doors.
