During the NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Portland International Raceway on Saturday, RCR driver Jesse Love got into an accident with 19 laps to go and suffered serious front end damage that buckled his hood.

When he entered the pits, one of his crew members used an unusual method to fix the problem.

He belly-flopped onto the car.

He then proceeded to punch parts of the hood to flatten them out as other crew members joined in to help with the “repair” process.

Love would renter the race and ultimately finish on the lead lap in 19th.
