IndyCar Moving To Fox Sports In 2025 — Full Schedule Released

IndyCar and Fox Sports announced on Thursday a new broadcast rights agreement that will see the series leave NBC Sports at the end of this season.

The multi-year deal will see the entire IndyCar season, including Indianapolis 500 qualifying, broadcast on the Fox network

“This represents unrivaled exposure and provides an unparalleled growth opportunity for the most competitive and entertaining motorsport on the planet,” INDYCAR CEO Mark Miles said in a press release.

“FOX Sports is a fully committed partner, ready to bring engaging and technically innovative coverage to millions of fans across the country while also promoting INDYCAR thoroughly across all its platforms.”

“Adding the iconic Indianapolis 500 and delivering the entire NTT INDYCAR SERIES to the FOX Sports roster fits perfectly within our model of teaming with sports’ largest events and best-in-class brands,” FOX Sports CEO and Executive Producer Eric Shanks added.

“We’re honored to be the new broadcast home to ‘The Greatest Spectacle in Racing,’ an incredibly special event to everyone at FOX Sports.”

Talent for the programming was not revealed.

IndyCar is scheduled to switch to a new hybrid powertrain on July 7 at Mid-Ohio which will be featured in the cars for the full season next year.

IndyCar also released its 2025 racing schedule, which includes a return to the Thermal Club, which hosted an exhibition race this year, but will have a points race in 2025. Texas Motor Speedway, which was dropped as a venue this season due to scheduling issues, will not return.
