The Jeep Gladiator is getting dressed for summer success.

Jeep has announced a collaboration with Vineyard Vines for a preppy clothing collection.

There’s an authentic history to the tie-up as Vineyard Vines was started by its founders, Shep & Ian Murray, selling ties and other items from the back of their Jeep Wrangler on Martha’s Vineyard.

It’s now a billion-dollar company with a global footprint, but retains its endless New England summer image.

“We have been chasing our dream of vineyard vines in a Jeep since we were able to drive. There’s no better feeling than being behind the wheel of a Jeep vehicle,” Shep Murray said in an announcement on the collection.

“Be it an old CJ-7 or one of today’s Rubicons, the feeling is the same: boundless opportunity, freedom ahead and the ability to chase your dream!”

The collection has a variety of shirts, shorts hats and accessories and the brands are celebrating its launch with a custom Jeep Gladiator giveaway.

The Gladiator Rubicon has been customized with Vineyard Vines logos, a “fish camo” wrap and features upgrades from American Expedition Vehicles (AEV) that include a 2.5-inch suspension lift, a front steel bumper with grille guard, a Warn winch and Salta wheels.

The Gladiator was updated for 2024 with new styling and infotainment features, power front seats, side curtain airbags and an antenna built into the windshield, among other changes. It comes standard with a 285 hp V6 and the Rubicon gets the Rock-Trac full-time four-wheel-drive system.

NEW JEEP RENEGADE WILL BE THE BRAND’S $25,000 ELECTRIC SUV

“Vineyard Vines and its ‘good life’ ethos expresses a dimension of the Jeep brand’s qualities and its, ‘Go Anywhere, Do Anything’ spirit,” Stellantis marketing executive Kim Adams House said.

“This special collaboration creates an authentic bridge, allowing each brand’s community to demonstrate its love of both brands at the time when those golden New England summers begin.”

The Vineyard Vines Gladiator will be making a promotional tour of Vineyard Vines stores in the Northeast before a sweepstakes winner is picked at summer’s end in September.
