The Ford Bronco is going hybrid, but giving something up … two wheels.

Ford has unveiled a Bronco-themed e-bike that’s a collaboration with the N+ brand.

The all-terrain pedal-assist e-bike features a full suspension and a 750-watt motor good for a 28 mph assisted top speed through a 9-speed Shimano groupset.

The range rating is 60 miles on a 3.5-hour charge, which can be monitored on its LCD gauge screen.

There’s also a street-oriented Mustang-inspired model that has the same specs, but rides on Pirelli Angel GT semi-slicks.

Pricing starts at $4,500 for the Bronco model, which comes in a single universal size with standard Area 51 paint, and $4,000 for a Carbonized Gray Mustang model, which is available in three sizes. Additional paint colors are available for $390. The online order book is open now ahead of the start of deliveries later this year, while a limited edition red 60th Anniversary Mustang model will be offered only through Ford dealers.

“We know the passion and thrill that gets unlocked when people get behind the wheel of a Bronco and Mustang,” Ford global brand licensing manager Tyler Hill said in a press release.

“These new e-bikes will allow more people to experience the adventurous spirit of a Bronco and the exhilaration of a Mustang from the moment they grip the handlebars.”

Several years ago, Ford was planning to introduce hybrid versions of the Bronco SUV and Mustang sports car, but neither have made it to showrooms yet. There are no indications that a Bronco hybrid will debut anytime soon, but there is a mystery Mustang being promised for 2025.
