Ford hasn’t said exactly how many of the Brittany Blue cars it will offer, but they’ll all have a 10-speed automatic transmissions and come bundled with the 401A package that includes Active-Valve Performance Exhaust, Brembo brakes, a 3.55 limited-slip rear axle, a 12-speaker B&O sound system, and Space Gray upholstery.

Ford is also distributing a new feature to all 2024 Mustang owners on Aug. 17. It’s a new skin for their digital instrument clusters designed to look like the white-facedd gauges from the 1999-2001 Mustang SVT Cobra. The 2024 Mustang already has skins that mimic the instrument panels from the 1967-1968 and 1987-1993 cars.

While the 60th anniversary models and gauges tip their hat to the Mustang’s history, there may be something very different in its future.

Ford CEO Jim Farley reportedly revealed plans for a four-door Mustang and an off-road model to a meeting of the brand’s dealers. Farley had previously discussed the possibility of a Mustang sedan in interviews, while the off-road trim could be similar to the electric Mustang Mach-E Rally that was released this year.

Attendees weren’t allowed to have cameras at the event and a timeframe for when the models could be released or even publicly confirmed is not known.
