Bubba Wallace won’t be going anywhere next year.

Wallace has signed a new contract with his 23XI Racing team, it was announced on Wednesday.

“From day one Bubba has been an integral part of 23XI. We’re excited to announce that he has signed a multi-year renewal and will continue to play a key role in helping 23XI grow and succeed,” the team said in a social media post.

After making the playoffs last year, Wallace missed the 2024 postseason. He hasn’t won a race and fell short in the points after crashing out of the Southern 500 cutoff race, which he started from pole position.

He has five top five finishes and 10 top 10 finishes with eight races left in the season, while his teammate Tyler Reddick was the regular season champion and with two wins and is currently fifth in the playoffs standings.

23XI Racing has yet to sign the new charter agreement with NASCAR, which has left its future a little unclear, but resigning Wallace reconfirms that it will be racing in 2025 regardless of the outcome of negotiations.

The team may also add a third car, with Xfinity Series driver Riley Herbst and Truck Series driver Corey Heim widely expected to be the top candidates for the car.

Wallace has been with 23XI Racing since it launched in 2021 and has notched wins at Talladega in 2021 and Kansas in 2022.
