Chevrolet has reshuffled the lineup for its electric Silverado EV pickup and added new models with lower prices and longer ranges for 2025.

The Silverado EV Work Truck will now be offered with three battery packs designated Standard Range, Extended Range and Max Range at price starting at $57,095.

That’s for the Standard Range which doesn’t have an official range rating yet, while the Extended Range is priced at $69,495 and rated for 422 miles and the Max Range is priced at $77,795 with 492 miles of range that makes it the longest-range electric pickup on sale. A comparable Ford F-150 Lightning Pro starts at $57,090 with 240 miles of range and is $10,000 more with an extended range battery pack that increases that to 320 miles.

At the top of the lineup, the Silverado EV RST is now available in Extended Range and Max Range models that list for $89,395 and $97,895 with 390 miles and 460 miles of range, the latter up 20 miles from the 2024 model.

A new Silverado EV LT trim has also been added with an Extended Range pack that’s good for 408 miles of range at $75,195. An LT with Premium Package drops that to 390 miles for $81,995 including a $2,095 delivery charge, which means its MSRP is below the $80,000 limit to qualify for the $7,500 federal tax credit on electric vehicle purchases.

The LT has a dual-motor drivetrain with 645 hp and 765 lb-ft compared to the RST’s 754 hp and 785 lb-ft rating. The LT can tow up to 12,500 pounds and has an 1,800-pound payload capacity. The Multi-Flex Tailgate that opens the rear wall of the cabin to extend the bed is standard on the LT and RST trims.

“Truck customers tell us range is one of the main barriers to considering an EV. The 2024 Silverado EV already was the range leader, and for this new model year we’ve set the bar even higher,” Chevrolet vice president Scott Bell said in a news release.

“A second barrier to entry is price, so we are fortifying the Silverado EV lineup by providing more choice. For 2025, we’re introducing an LT trim, offering a more affordable RST package and expanding WT offerings. This increased capability and accessibility is great news for the segment, the industry, and the brand.”

Deliveries and sales of the 2025 Silverado EV are expected to begin before the end of this year.
