The Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat is going out in style. Lots of styles.
Dodge is rolling out a line of special edition versions of the 710 hp SUV to mark what is expected to be its last year, but you never know.
The seven passenger vehicle is the last to feature the supercharged 6.2-liter V8 and was originally scheduled to go out of production after the 2024 model year, but that was extended in to 2025.
The latest is the Durango SRT Hellcat Brass Monkey, which resurrects a trim that has been used in years past on various Dodge models.

It’s purely an appearance package that includes Brass Monkey wheels and badging, a Satin Black hood, Sepia Laguna leather upholstery, a suede headliner, carbon fiber and chrome interior trim, black Brembo brakes, black exhaust tips and a few other touches.
The vehicle is also equipped with a 19-speaker 825-watt Harmon Kardon audio system and a package of electronic driver aids that includes adaptive cruise control.
The Durango SRT Hellcat is currently the most powerful SUV with an internal combustion engine made by a U.S. automaker. It can accelerate to 60 mph in 3.5 seconds and hit a top speed of 180 mph.

Prices for the Brass Monkey start at $115,315. Other Durango SRT Hellcat special editions that have been released are the Hammerhead and Silver Bullet. Along with the Hellcat V8, Dodge will continue to offer the Durango with a 360 hp 5.7-liter V8 for the 2025 model year, but has discontinued the 475 hp 6.4-liter V8 option.

The Durango and Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392 are the only two light duty vehicles across all of the Stellantis brands with V8 engines that will be sold in 2025 as other models, including the Jeep Grand Wagoneer and upcoming Dodge Charger are using a 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six-cylinder as their top internal combustion engine.
