It was an oldie, but it looks like it’s even more of a goodie now.
The 2025 Nissan Murano is all-new and marks the model’s first full redesign since it was last updated in 2015.
The midsize, two-row SUV continues to slot between the Rogue and Pathfinder in Nissan’s lineup, while serving as something of a flagship premium offering.
The new Murano is about the same length as the outgoing version, but a couple of inches wider. Its styling adopts Nissan’s latest design language with slim headlights and a prominent grill that has horizontal slats.

Front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive powertrains will be available, both using a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine rated at 241 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque. Variable compression ratio technology helps balance power and efficiency, and both drivetrains are rated at 23 mpg city, 24 mpg highway and 23 mpg combined.

The interior features dual digital displays for the instrument cluster and touchscreen infotainment system interface, along with a panel on the center console similar to the Nissan Aryia’s that hides its illuminated capacitive touch buttons when the vehicle is turned off.

SL, SV and Platinum trims will be offered and top models will feature a 360-degree camera system that can create a virtual invisible hood to help see what’s under the vehicle, massage seats and Nissan’s ProPILOT Assist steering-assisted adaptive cruise control.

The Murano will continue to be built at Nissan’s Smyrna, Tenn., assembly plant. Pricing for the 2025 Murano will be announced closer to when deliveries begin early next year, but the 2024 model starts at $40,130.
