It was beat the boss day at 23XI Racing on Sunday. And beat everyone else day.
Tyler Reddick entered the final turn of the NASCAR Cup Series Race at Homestad-Miami sitting in third place behind his team owner Denny Hamlin and defending champion Ryan Blaney running up front.
Blaney had just passed Hamlin and Reddick followed suit with a move to the inside entering turn one and the three lined up on the back straight.
Blaney took the final turns in the middle of the track while Reddick went to the outside and drove right past him and on to the finish line.

Hamlin’s 23XI Racing co-owner Michael Jordan was at the race and greeted Reddick in pit lane with an exhuberent hug.
“Yea, baby, yea, good job kid,” Jordan could be heard over the TV microphone. “Man, good job.”
The win locked the regular season champion into the Championship Four with last week’s winner Joey Logano and left Hamlin and Blaney below the cutline in sixth and seventh place.
Christopher Bell and William Byron, who finished the race in fourth and sixth, stand above the cutline in third and fourth heading into Martinsville.
Kyle Larson is in fifth after two spins resulted in a 13th place finish at Homestead-Miami and fifth place finisher Chase Elliott is in eighth.
