No, you’re not Batman, but you can pretend to be.

A real company called Wayne Enterprises is now taking orders for recreations of the Tumbler from the Christopher Nolan Batman trilogy.

It’s an officially licensed product offered by the outfit, which deals in a variety of high-end Batman-themed merchandise. Think of it as The Sharper Image for rich fans of The Caped Crusader.

The vehicle is built by Action Vehicle Engineering, which is a California-based shop that specializes in fabricating stunt cars and outlandish customs, including full size replicas of Hot Wheels vehicles.

The Tumbler isn’t street legal, but we’re not sure Batman’s was, either. It features a kevlar, carbon fiber and fiberglass body wrapped around a tubular aeronautical steel frame. It weighs 5,511 pounds and is about as long as a Corvette, but wider than a full-size pickup.

It’s also powered by a 6.2-liter V8 like the Corvette, but its a 525 hp LS3 crate engine that drives the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission. The two-seat interior is equipped with racing harnesses, air conditioning and designed to match the style of the movie car. There is even a functional smoke screen feature, but the gun turrets and jet engine are simulated.

Wayne Enterprises will build just 10 Tumblers and is currently taking requests for allocations at a price of $2,990,000, with each requiring a 15-month build time to complete.
