Nearly a year after it went on sale, the Tesla Cybertruck is now available through a lease.
Tesla announced the program with starting prices of $999 per month for an All-Wheel Drive Cybertruck and $1,148 for a Cyberbeast, both with $7,500 down.
The list prices start at $79,990 for the All-Wheel Drive and $99,990 for the Cyberbeast and financing for 72 months on purchases is $1,280 and $1,609 per month, respectively, with $3,999 down.

Tesla removed the requirement to have a reservation to buy one in August and new orders placed today will be shipped in November or December. In October, it discontinued the Foundation Series package that was mandatory on purchases and added $20,000 to the price of either model.
The Cybertruck is the best selling electric pickup in the U.S. and should finish the year in that position. According to Cox Automotive, 16,692 were delivered in the third quarter of the year and the total through the first three quarters was 28,250.

The Ford F-150 Lightning was second at 22,807 through Sept. and 24,670 through Oct., but Ford has announced that production will be paused from Nov. 16 through Jan. 6. due to low demand.
Tesla had previously advertised a $60,990 Rear-Wheel Drive Cybertruck that was slated to launch in 2025, but has removed the configuration from its consumer website and has not said when or if it will go on sale.
The Cybertruck is not currently eligible for the $7,500 federal tax credit on retail electric vehicle purchases despite being made in the U.S. and priced below the $80,000 threshold for trucks. It was on the list last year, but rules on materials sourcing changed for 2024. However, the credit can be applied to commercial purchases.
