Experts say that the Sun will rise in the east tomorrow.

In other news, Hendrick Motorsports driver Chase Elliott was voted the NASCAR Cup Series’ most popular driver for the seventh straight season.

Raise your hand if you didn’t see this coming.

Elliott finished the season with one win, which came at Texas Motor Speedway an ended a 42-race winless streak. He also had 11 top five finishes and an appearance in the NASCAR Playoff’s Round of 8, before missing the cut for the Championship Four.

Xfinity Series champion Justin Allgaier won the vote in that series and Rajah Caruth took home the title in the truck series.
