Rare 1966 Ford Bronco Roadster Appears At Auction — How Much Is It Worth?
The new Ford Bronco is available with either two or four doors, but the original came with either two or zero.
The 1966 Ford Bronco was offered as a Sports Utility with an open bed, a Wagon with a full length top on it and a Roadster, which didn’t have a roof or solid doors.
Instead, it had inserts that closed off part of the opening, but left enough room for passengers to fit through. Vinyl clip-on doors and a roof were available as accessories.
It wasn’t a popular model and was discontinued after 1968 with only about 5,000 sold. The number left today is uncertain, but is widely believed to be fewer than 200.
