There Are Just 14 V8-Powered Chevrolet Camaros Left For Sale
The Chevrolet Camaro has been out of production for more than a year, but you can still get a new one if you’re willing to shop around.
According to Cars.com there are 51 new Camaros still left sitting on dealer lots across the country.
The supply has been at roughly that number for several weeks, suggesting that everyone who really wanted a sixth generation Camaro managed to get their hands on one last year as Chevrolet sold 5,859.
Of the 51 cars, just 14 are equipped with V8 engines, which are hard to come by in American cars today.

Only the Chevrolet Corvette, Ford Mustang and Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing still offer the classic American motor.
The top Camaro up for grabs is a 2024 ZL1 Convertible powered by a 650 hp supercharged 6.2-liter V8. It has an automatic transmission and is listed for $100,860 at Chase Chevrolet in Stockton, Calif. The price includes a $15,000 “market adjustment” markup over MSRP.

Last July, American Cars And Racing reported on what appeared to be the last new Camaro ZL1 left for sale, which was sold for $134,040 by Mike Bell Chevrolet in Carrolton, Ga., so the Chase Chevrolet car caught out eye. However, it is listed with 526 miles on the odometer, suggesting it was a dealer demonstration car that is being retired.

While Chevrolet has no plans to replace the production Camaro with a seventh generation model, it will live on in NASCAR this year. Chevy is continuing to use the body style in the Cup Series and Xfinity Series, but has taken the Camaro name off the rear bumper panel and replaced it with Chevrolet.
Perhaps one will win the Daytona 500 on Sunday, Feb. 16 and help sell some of the remaining cars on Monday.
