The Ford F-Series Outsold All Of Tesla Again In 2024
The Ford F-Series didn’t have a record year in 2024, but it was a good one.
Along with being the best selling model line overall for the 43rd straight year, it outsold the fourth largest U.S. automaker entirely.
Ford delivered 765,649 F-Series trucks, which includes the F-150 through the F-600, including the F-150 Lightning electric pickup.
Meanwhile, Tesla delivered a total of 633,672 vehicles in the U.S., according to Cox Automotive.

Among them were the Model Y, which was the sixth best selling vehicle at 372,613 and the Cybertruck that outsold the F-150 Lightning 38,965 to 33,510.
The F-Series has always outsold Tesla, but the all-electric automaker was getting closer before its U.S. sales dropped 5.6% last year. Ford has estimated that the F-Series on its own is a $40 billion business. Tesla did outperform the second-best selling vehicle, which is the Chevrolet Silverado lineup that accounted for 542,517.
