It’s not exactly a low-profile vehicle.

Police in Bury, U.K., near Manchester on Thursday seized a Tesla Cybertruck spotted on the road and arrested its driver.

The electric pickup is not road legal in the U.K. as it has not yet received a “certificate of conformity” that shows it meets the local regulations.

Elon Musk has said he doesn’t think Tesla will be able to sell it in the U.K. or Europe in its current design for a variety of reasons, but several have been imported by ambitious owners.

The vehicle in question was fitted with a matte black wrap that had “Cyberbeast” written in red across its front fascia.

The Bury police said in a Facebook post that, “the driver was a permanent UK resident but the vehicle was registered and insured abroad which is prohibited in the UK.”

“Whilst this may seem trivial to some,” the post continued,” legitimate concerns exist around the safety of other road users or pedestrians if they were involved in a collision with a Cybertruck.”

The identity of the driver and the country where the vehicle was registered were not released and it is unclear from the photo from where the license plate was issued.

Police told Carwow, “the owner will have to prove ownership and correct insurance prior to release which he will likely struggle with.”
