810 HP Shelby GT350 Mustang Revealed — How Much Does It Cost?
Shelby American has unveiled its latest take on the GT350.
The limited edition build celebrates the 60th anniversary of the original 1965 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 created by Carroll Shelby to give the new pony car a performance edge. Shelby will build just 562 new GT350s to match the number of originals that were produced.
The latest edition gets a unique hood with center vent, grille inserts, front splitter and a ducktail spoiler, with an additional wing also available.
The suspension is enhanced with lowering springs and new sway bars and the car rides on specially-designed 20-inch forged alloy wheels that are 9.5-inches wide up front and 11-inches wide in the rear.

The GT350 is powered by the Mustang’s standard 480 hp 5.0-liter V8 with a Borla cat-back exhaust, which can be supercharged to 810 hp. Styling touches include Shelby plaques, badges, door sill plates and leather upholstery. Cars with manual transmissions also get a short-throw shifter with a Shelby shifter ball grip.

Pricing starts at $109,999 for the supercharged version, but Shelby American hasn’t announced the exact price for the naturally aspirated model.
Shelby will also be building 36 track-focused GT350R cars tuned to 830 hp and upgraded with even more extreme performance equipment. The GT350R will feature a new body kit, Sparco racing seats with 4-point harnesses, a half cage to stiffen the chassis, an adjustable remote reservoir JRI suspension, Alcon racing brakes and Forgeline wheels.

The GT350R will only be available in white with either blue or gold/silver/black stripes inspired by the original cars. Pricing for the GT350R has not yet been released. Shelby is also working on a true racing trim that it said will be eligible for one of the Trans Am racing series production-based classes.
