The old Dodge Charger and Challenger were offered in standard and widebody styles and now you can get the latter for the electric Charger Daytona … just not from Dodge.

Aftermarket parts suppler Waido Kits has designed a couple of takes on the style, one of which is pretty over the top.

The $4,990 Dodge Charger Daytona Style Full Widebody Kit includes flared fenders, rocker extensions an 1970 Charger Daytona-inspired hoop wing and a deep front splitter.

The splitter is depicted in yellow like the controversial splitter shipping guards that many Challenger and Charger owners left on their cars after delivery.

Waido has also rendered the fenders and rockers in a contrasting black color, but the images for another kit feature a car with more of a factory look.

The $3,990 Dodge Charger Daytona Widebody kit has an all-red body with black accents. It does without the rocker extensions and goes with wheel arch flares instead of full wide fenders. It does, however, add a shaker style hood scoop which, of course, isn’t needed for an electric vehicle.

The Czechia-based company makes kits for several other vehicles, including the Tesla Cybertruck, and shipments take about two weeks for in-stock parts.

Dodge hasn’t revealed any plans to introduce its own widebody version of the Charger Daytona, but the model is only just getting to showrooms now. The two-door will be followed by a four-door in a few months and then a Charger Sixpack lineup powered by turbocharged straight-six gas engines sometime this summer.

It took 11 years for Dodge to introduce a widebody version of the last generation Challenger, but it was such a strong seller that it likely won’t wait so long this time around if the new car proves popular.
